Serendipity: a life lived in words

Serendipity is...

A showcase of work by elizabeth murray; short stories, articles, haiku, flash fiction, poetry, dialogue, and experiments. Like what you see? Contact me. I could be writing for you.

My blog is going to change for the moment, for Nano is coming! For those of you still milling around from last year, it’s a prizeless competition which aims to generate material for writers, provide a support network and generally have fun whilst working hard.

Between November 1st and 30th, 50,000 words have to be written by each entrant. Anyone who manages it is a winner. Why? Well, why not? Accomplishment, generation of material, meeting like minded people, focus, concentration…just to name a few.

Who cares? Well I do for one…and the other thousands (72,000 last year I believe) who will take part with the best of intentions, whether or not they finish it. 10/10 for trying. Less procrastination talking out of our arses about what we’d like to do and actually doing it! Sounds a good enough reason to me!

Why am I telling you? Well…I want your help. And you want to give it. You do, you know!
