Elizabeth rose dogmatika haiku XV
Inspired by a visit to Casa Battlo in Barcelona last year, I wrote this haiku entitled Gaudi’s Lift which was the highlight of this particular architactural gem for me. It was all stunning and intriguing but the lift was such a finale – like falling through a waterfall. Seen at twilight – the house looks straight from a Hansel and gretel-esque tale – colourful, beautiful yet sinister. I managed to get to La Parada and also Parc Guell, as well as seeing the exterior of the cathedral and the lamposts he designed. See if this haiku evokes any memories for you, over on Dogmatika.
